My random thoughts on The 100 season 4 because I feel like posting stuff to somewhere you can have actually conversations again and where I don’t have to worry about spoiling people.

Episode 401!

Yay new episode! Mostly just yay Bellamy and Clarke in the same space!!!

But getting a bit tired of Clarke begging people to keep her people alive when everyone is honestly probably better off without them. I don’t find people working against their interests (Roan) all that believable. Or all the other cultures having to adapt to the protagonist’s worldview. Sparks a bit too much of a colonialist mindset to me.

I love Monty. And I love Harper. I don’t even mind them having some nice recreation together. I’m just not sure I buy it. Monty just looks so awkward in those sex scenes. Yes, I have a bias and dearly want Monty and Miller to be together, but still. Am I imagining that?

Jasper is breaking my heart, but I also kind of appreciate where it seems to be going.

Very happy to have some acknowledgement of Raven’s “upgrade” to a programmer, which is probably retcon, but the hint that people could have been changed long term by Allie is interesting. You know, if they go anywhere with it. Very Matrix, upload a new program into my brain.

Bellamy Blake is life. Glad he and Clarke are finally back together. Love the keeping her alive bit, and ending with the “What’s next, Princess,” bit as well. And the older gen watching the younger gen go off to ‘save the world’. Though I am a bit curious about all these red shirt older guard guys and what they may think about Clarke and Bellamy. I could totally dig an episode from the redshirt POV. Like just catching snippets of HIGHLY DRAMATIC SHIT going down in the background in passing, and them just being like, *shrug* someone will tell us what to do at some point and going back to living their lives, whatever they look like.

The redemption of the characters from their ‘under the influence’ behavior seems a bit too quick. I hope they don’t drop all of that right away. There’s fun stuff to be played out in that direction. (Though Indra’s hug with Kane is life.)

And please keep Emori around, and with Murphy, and LOL at him being like “my people can keep us safe” and two seconds later like, “fuck that shit they are out their minds, let’s jam, girlfriend.” So. Awesome.

Biggest complaint though? WHERE WAS MILLER? No, no, no. I need Miller.
