+ Thanks for the snowflake cookies! Festive and calorie free. Perfect. ;)
+ Dear whoever first referred to Will Zimmerman as a mouth-breather: Damn you. It's driving me INSANE now. I'm not supposed to be cheering for the beastie of the week to kill him. Really.
+ Oh, and for some reason, during the last ep of Sanctuary, I kept seeing snatches of Sam Carter. The walk, I think. Or maybe I am just overly thankful to be back to obsessing over my OTP. Hm. A S/J rewatch marathon may be required.
+ So, the Tale of Genji is probably the first novel, and it was written by a woman. But more importantly, it's also the first indulgent self-insert fanfic. (Try not naming the tragic, beautiful, true love of the hero after yourself. It's kind of a give away.)
+ I suspect the only reason I bought Elliot Yamin's 'Wait for You' is because the beginning section sounds almost like the music from Final Fantasy X.
+ I built a fire. Perhaps I won't die withing five minutes of apocalyptic winter after all. It would take at least twenty.
+ Anyone else see the Dell tv ad where the guy is watching Stargate on his new shiny laptop? That may have made me squee a little.
+ I should write fic now. *gets distracted by dirty dishes*
P.S. I need a cliche for the next icon in my clicheathon challenge. Thoughts?

Oh, THANKS. Now I'm going to be thinking that, too. He did stare at Magnus for, like, thirty seconds with his mouth open, though. It was a little freaky.
I found myself thinking "Go Sam!" during this ep, for the first time. Maybe something AT did was quite Sam-esque?
*checks cliches list* Bodyswap? Huddling together for warmth?
(no subject)
Yes! Naked we-must-avoid-hypothermia fic!
Not because I have ever done thisBecause it is very fun, yes indeed.(no subject)

We've already done snuggling. I can try to work in bodyswap. That has potential for hilarity. Or really, really, really kinky smut. Hmmm...

Cliches, cliches... I can't think of any at the moment.

Yes! I saw lots of Sam Carter this last ep too, mostly in how she said things. I think the accent was slipping.
I had to go back and look at the cliche list... we're up to #8-Telepathy/psychic connection, now? I just use my "brain connect icon" for those moments. *points up*
(no subject)
Ooooh. Telepathy cliche icon. Hmmmm.

That was possibly me. It's about the only thing that drives me batty in the bad way about him. Sorry? (For the record, Alyson Hannigan does the same thing, and while I suffered through seven seasons of Buffy watching her pant and gape, I cannot watch HIMYM, no matter how much I love NPH.)
(no subject)
No! Not Willow! Now I can never rewatch my Buffy DVD sets. :(

I SAW THAT! Windows 7 has a good marketing campaign with the various PC manufacturers. I was half paying attention and then...wait, were those ha'taks blowing up?
And then I realized who else would come up with pyramids flying through space!!!
That was either the SGU premiere or Continuum....watches YouTube link. Yep, SGU premiere. HEEEE!!!!

I did think Sam, but I think it was because I was thinking of SGA's Abyss.

Yes! Please? Pretty please with Sam on top (of Jack . . . )!

Ignore the dishes. They'll be there tomorrow . . . :)

*waves Jedi hands*
these are not the dirty dishes you are looking for...

Well, I managed to forget about the dishes. But neither did I fic much. Lol. *stares off in space*

I really don't like disliking characters. Please to stop making this difficult to stick to, writers.

I have not seen the Dell ad. Thanks for the link as I will go watch and enjoy.
Cliches? How about a Stargate Command Christmas Ball, or has that been done already?
(no subject)
Hahah. Is SCG Christmas Ball a cliche? I can't think of any off the top of my head.

Of course, you've written the big soiree, too, and quite recently. *g*

Yes, fic, please.:)
And I didn't see much Carter in this last ep, but I was watching "Revelations pt. 1" this morning, and caught "the walk" when she was coming into the study to fill in the others on the tests on John.:)

I am usually very impressed how little I see Sam in Helen, and I *look*, so yeah, pretty impressive for the most part.

Ffrom a writers POV the last episode was fantastic. I watched the episode first run and then just listened to the dialogue and delivery on the second. It was filled with brilliant subtext.

Thanks for sharing this bit! :D
That is wicked cool :)
