Dear CSI:
That splash in the water behind you. Is that just your imagination and writing skillz abandoned at sea? Or possibly a shark you just jumped over? (Maybe every decade or so shows should dump the entire writing room and get some fresh blood. Lol. Do something before you become even more ridiculous.)
Dear Fringe:
Yes, resolution is a scary thing and problematic for long term shows. I get this. I even admire the concept. Olivia finally admitting her attraction for Peter, a nice kiss, and then BAM, wrong Olivia goes home with him. Getting the right Olivia back could take an entire season even. It would be good watching. I can envision this all developing. Peter discovering first, realizing this is the wrong lady, but being wily enough not to give away the upper hand and just stringing her along until the right moment. I can see a dangerous dance of maybe Not!Olivia realizing this world isn't so bad, that she's been lied to, clinging to her sister and niece that she didn't get to have, maybe falling a little in love with Peter herself. I can see glorious self-sacrifice in the end (but just as easily a glorious scene of Peter turning on Evil!Olivia at the last moment, giving the knife a snarky little twist. "I lied, I prefer my Olivia's hair." Lol). There are many fabulous place you might take this. You might even let our Olivia get broken and brainwashed and everyone will have to rally around her to remind her just who she is!!! Ha!
But here are a few things I will not accept: It taking an entire season for Peter to realize he's boffing the wrong Olivia. Our Peter actually being stupid enough to fall in love with the other Olivia. (Oh, I can see it, Fringe writers, trying to wring another season or two of awkward UST out of Peter being 'confused' over his feelings for the two different women. "I just...I need time, Olivia," he emotes. NO.)
At some point, some show is going to have to be brave enough to actually try resolution. Just think: a whole new world of cliches and misunderstandings that have never been tapped! Lol.

I TOTALLY called the whole Oliva2 thing. Doesn't mean I didn't love it. *g* Didn't Torv play the two of them fabulously? I totally knew which one either one was at any given time. (It was all in the eyes!) Also, the dark isolation cell at the end? SUPER CREEPY.
And you just know that getting Olivia back from being brainwashed is going to require insane amounts of narcotics.
Have you ever looked at the TV Tropes page for Fringe? It's pretty hilarious.

Torv did an AMAZING job. You could totally tell just by timber of voice, eyes, the way she held herself... It was masterfully done. (And yes, I saw the switch from a mile away.) OH! And how much do I LOVE the Bell stole Walter's memories because he *asked* him to. Because Walternate is a cold bastard and he didn't want to become that. He knew what he was capable of turning into and chose bumbling eccentric instead. God, I love Walter.
And now that I have you hear, am I reading too much into it or is Joshua Jackson's reluctance with the P/O ship shining through in that kiss? It annoys me somehow that he keeps his hand in his pocket while he's kissing her. I mean, really?
But maybe I am projecting. Lol.
I need a P/O icon.

Of course Bell stole Walter's memories because he asked him to! I love Walter. Not so much love for Walternate. I do, however, feel sorry for the Other Reality--our reality's troubles seem minor in comparison, don't they? A bus in amber vs. a whole building... yeah.
I think I have to see the kiss scene again to do justice to that question. I was wondering if part of it was Peter's confusion about his place in the scheme of things. OR it might be a director's choice or something. Hmm.
We both need P/O icons.
Okay, I kinda want Other!Oliva to be evil. Nice, deliciously evil. That would be a total trope, and completely fun. I won't be disappointed if she's not, but how sweet would it be to do a genuine evil twin thing? Although I guess Walternate counts for that.

Though, as someone else said, my money's on Ella figuring her out first, I think Peter, Astrid and Broyles might get it around the same time. Walter won't want to believe it, even if he does get it.

And what was with the weird Bell comment to Peter, "You're holding together better than I would have thought". I'm assuming this is something about Peter having crossed over three times now. Hmmm.

I LOVE Fringe. But yes, someone must figure out they've got the wrong Olivia fairly soon next season or I'll be disappointed too.
On another note - Jack was in SGU tonight. And he mentioned Carter!
:) ♥

SGU- ACK! *fingers in ears, humming* I haven't seen it yet. (Sorry, I am an INSANE spoilerphobe. Yes, even casting stuff.)
