Because I have been drowning you guys in the uber angst lately...I offer recompense in the form of ficamnesty.

When I started writing String Theory oh so many years ago, I had a vague inkling of where I wanted it to go, with two or three large story arcs in mind. When I actually wrote the final chapter, it happened a lot earlier than I expected, but it just felt right, so I went with it.  But, because of that, a lot of unpublished bits ended up in the black hole of a file I call "Extra Bits".  Including this scene.  I've polished it up and here it is, a String Theory missing scene that takes place pretty much a few hours after the epilogue.  You know, right around when SG-1 discovers that the beautiful tropical planet they visited is not so much what they expected.  And they come home with a new friend. :)
