Heh. I nearly drove off the road when I saw it. Luckily the husband has learned to take photos first and ask questions later. ("Let me guess, this is a Stargate thing." Poor, ignorant boy. Lol)

Well, it is kind of an old model. ;) I'm still trying to figure out if it could have possibly meant anything other than a Stargate reference. Hilarious.

I know it also refers to a small plane that can only fly short distances having to make numerous stops. I think the term originated in the 30's. It can also refer to a rickety old automobile. I'm pretty sure that term is from the the early 1900's.

Yeah, I was thinking about that. But a small grey, roundish car? I thought it just had to be a Stargate reference. I should have pulled the guy over and asked. Lol. Just a little sticker with Earth's point of origin would do. :)

Hee, excellent! I used to drive a little grey car like that - pre-Stargate, or I'd have gotten a window sticker like that too!

It does totally look like a little car version of a puddle jumper, doesn't it? Makes me wonder what they've got under the hood.

OMG, so awesome! Someone needs to mass produce these bumper stickers! (Or I suppose, you could just buy individual letters to spell it out) :D

I was vaguely surprised when I passed by the driver that it wasn't a woman. I think LJ fandom has skewed my perspective a bit! Lol
