Just a couple of random things.

1) Is it possible to die of too many paper cuts?  I'm beginning to think it is karma for using to many xeroxes in the work place.  Must conserve paper, become paperless like everyone else and be a proper environmentalist.  Pax, karmic spirits!  I surrender!

2) I haven't watched BSG yet.  I have had ample time and it is sitting pristinely waiting for me on my TiVo.  I just can't bring myself to watch it.  Why, you ask?  It has been my experience that amazing, long awaited, sure to be brilliant TV shows/books/movies/etc tend to short circuit my brain.  I don't write BSG, so letting it take over my mind might be dangerous.  Particularly because I am finally moving on the nearly abandoned Egeria's Legacy (I am so damn close to actually finishing!).  I am writing a bit these days, and I feel the steam building back up.  I would be so horribly upset to derail that by blowing my mind on the amazingness that is BSG.

Does that make me crazy?  (I'm fairly certain I intend that to be rhetorical)

3) 'They that can give up essential liberties to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.'

Word, Mr. Franklin.  Word.

1. You're doing your part to support my local economy, so bless you. After all, we produce a lot of timber down here and much of it ends up as paper, and then we've got kaolin, too, which is used in paper, so please, keep up the paper use. Just recycle and you'll be fine and all karma restored.

2. It's good. I enjoyed it, but it didn't take over my mind. As for Egeria's Legacy, despite my pronouncement of my love, no, make that no fear of WIPs, I have not started that one. I'll try and start it this week. Oh, and while you're at it, would you please update String Theory, too? (No, I'm not pushy at all.)

3. Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.

Mr. Franklin was wise and astute about many things.

Ack. If you start Egeria's Legacy too, I'll *have* to finish it. :) And more String Theory. Yeah. I already have four ficletts written, I just have one stubborn one that needs to be written before them. Gosh...linear time is annoying. :P

Mr. Franklin is sort of my hero. :) I mean...bifocals! Who doesn't love bifocals?

The thought of more annerb fic soon (I hope soon) makes me very happy. Very, very happy. Almost as happy as bifocals make me happy and when I think about it, maybe even happier. :::thinks::: Yep, I've decided that fic is happier than bifocals, if only by a slim margin. Lasik surgery a year ago pushes fic to the lead. Lasers! Eyes! Clear sight and the ability to see far and near!! YAY!!

Actually, I was thinking about time loops yesterday and I was getting very confused, so I decided not to worry my pretty, little head about it and moved on. Linear time may be frustrating, but it's so easy.

As someone who doesn't get what all the fuss is about BSG, (trite and unrealistically humourless.) I say NOOOOOOOOOO! don't look at it...feel the fabulousness that is EL...embrace it and clasp it to your bosom...I'm going to cry if anymore of my fave authors pop off to BSG. I'm not pretty when I cry,I get horribly red and blotchy...don't inflict that on everybody.

Do not worry, my dear. I am certainly not being seduced away, certainly not to BSG. (Did I just jinx myself? Oh well, at least it's in writing.)

I totally understand point No 2. I am so the same and can wait up to a year before giving in and watching a new show that I just know is going to grab me by the scruff of the neck and not let go. I usually wait until a previous fandom as begun to pall before going ahead.

I tell you though, BSG is amazing! I watched the miniseries, S1 and S2 in the space of 2-3weeks. It is wholly addictive (even my husband thinks so).
