Makes me wonder though, who among the PTB are not convinced that they are together? Must be the minority because they at least considered putting in the scene and filmed it, even if it was cut.

Well, some of the writers just care more about character development, while others are way more into the plots driven aspects. I think you need both to get the amazing balance that we got in Stargate. I get why it was cut, I'm just glad it was ever written and filmed. And that they shared it with us. :)

Thank you for posting this, it just highlights my frustration, it may just be me but I believe that what got cut is of no consequence. Until I see it on screen I will feel like we are just been strung along , being given little sniffs of the meal but never allowed to eat it .

I'm sorry to hear it brings you no joy. I honestly don't think any of the writers or actors perceive it as stringing anyone along. They have been really good about giving tidbits and allusions, but at the same time not 100% closing off any options (i.e. multishippers or genners. There's room for us all the be happy, I swear!) But maybe I am just weird, I prefer to write my own ship, lol. The PTB would just mess it up. Snerk.

Although it was great to see the deleted scene, it is very sad that the writers of Continuum were unwilling to give any credence to what they themselves had created throughout the series. Why do that in the first place, if they had no intention of taking it to it's natural conclusion? Now that AT is apparently out of SGA that would appear to be it as far as Jack & Sam goes. Thank goodness we have you fantasic storytellers to give us some closure, as it were.

Well, I kind of already went into this a bit in the comment above... I'm really sorry you feel cheated. I guess I just have to remember that S/J is just a small thread of a much larger tapestry. It's just not as important to all people, all writers, or even all actors as it is to us. Personally I have been very happy with the level of subtlety they have employed for the most part. My imagination is powerful and out of control enough. Lol. (OMG, did his hand just brush hers? THEY ARE SO DOING IT!)

But I do hope you get what you are looking for some day! *keeps her fingers crossed*

Yes. LIFE IS GOOD!!! I'm so happy that TPTB gave us this much. Bless their little shippy hearts. I think they're fangirls, too.

I really wasn't going to buy S4's dvds because I've got all the Sam-centric ones saved to iTunes, but this scene? Well, guess what's in my shopping cart at amazon. Uh huh. Give the fangirls what they want and they buy the product.
