Well, you guys just rock.  What a wonderful avalanche of prompts!  And so many of them really sparked off my muse, so thank you so much.  From the bottom of my atrophied fanfic fingers.  Ronon seems to have won today's attention, so here's the first two:

My fannish mojo is MIA.  It's quite sad. I mean, I've watched Out of Mind and Into the Fire and Failsafe, read my favorite fics, finally started in on the jack_built fics (bwah! You guys rock), and spent quality time with my unfinished fic file.  The result?  Bupkis.  Now, we all know I have a dubious track record with memes, but I am desperate to get something going here.

Below is a list of a bunch of characters from SG-1 and SGA.  Choose two and give me one line of dialog or prose and I will do my bestest to write you a ficlet about the pair.  Feel free to request het, I just reserve the right to make it friendship fic. ;)

Sometimes it's ok to pimp yourself out. Post a list of your top five favorite fics you've written, regardless of fandom or the reason you love them. This isn't about the BEST things you've written, but what you LOVE most. Then tag five other people to do the same.

Broken Words - I love how unapologetically angsty and maybe even melodramatic this one is.  I love the rawness and how one little push on the stringently balanced scales between Jack and Sam can set everything into chaos.  And I love messing with timelines/alternative realities.  :) Completely self-indulgent.

Egeria's Legacy- This story was sort of my ode to Sam, dealing with a lot of questions I had about more long term effects and emotional issues that the show never gets to deal with for obvious reasons.  But really, I just loved writing Selmak.  I have the most fun with fics when I get to delve into the mythology of the show and answer the questions we're left with.  This was the fic that helped me really wrap my mind around the Tok'ra, what it meant to share your body/soul, and even my own personal theory as to why Egeria really turned (which didn't make it into the story, per se, but I had a kick thinking about).  I'm always really happy with myself when I can write a short story, but I know in the end, that my heart really belongs to the realm of novels.

Outside the Lines- Even more than Egeria's Legacy, this is my true ode to Sam.  This is who I think she is.  It encapsulates her relationship with each of her teammates as well as her various personae: scientist, soldier, woman, human, and even killer.  I was proud of the relationships with Daniel and Teal'c in this fic, and even more so not having a happy-happy ending.  Plus, this whole fic sorta leapt from my head full grown like Athena.  I think that is the one and only time that has ever happened.

Reality- I put a lot of myself into this fic, so it always has a very special place in my heart.  The idea that Jack and Sam could so thoroughly destroy each other is more appealing to me than perfect endings with marriage and a dog.  I like to think there is an appealing sort of immediacy to this fic, as brief as it is.

As the 'Gate Turns- Now, this is far from my best fic, but it was my first.  There are so many things I might go back and fix, but I just....love this fic.  I love the Goa'uld mythology I created.  I love the OC I created, even if she teeters dangerously in the area of Mary Sue at times (before I even knew what one was).  This fic is 118,000 words long and took me a good year and a half to write.  This is the fic that taught me to write, introduced me to the characters, and dared me to write as far as I could stretch my imagination.  This is the fic that taught me that I could think in novel format.  Every little half baked, shoved away, no one would ever want to read anything I've written, doubts were overcome by writing this fic.  Everything else I've written only exists because of this messy, beautiful, ludicrous little experiment.  God, look at me wax poetic.  Lol.  I think you can tell how much writing has come to mean to me and I trace that all back to this monster.  :)

There is a new man in my life.  How exactly did I miss you for six whole seasons Gil Grissom?  Thank goodness we found each other.  Apparently there is room for more than one grey haired snarky man in my heart.  I just want to listen to him talk about bugs for hours on end.

And second, the Timestamp Meme!
Give me one of my own stories, and a timestamp sometime in the future after the end of the story, or sometime in the past before the story started, and I'll write you at least a hundred words of what happened then, whether it's five minutes before the story started or ten years in the future.
