I'm back!  What, you didn't notice I was gone? :P  I've been out of town and away from internets for the last week.  I quail at the thought of flist skip=seventygazillion, but I shall try.

We are quite smoky out here, but I am far from any actual flames.  Just another excuse to stay indoors and glue myself to livejournal! NASA has some amazing satellite photos of the fires and smoke here.  I really hope things calm down soon and that people are smart with their fireworks this year.  The last thing we need are more fires!

I was playing with icons a bit before I left on my little trip and I'm excited to see that one of my icons was chosen for redial_the_gate.  Yay!  Thanks, guys.  I also went a bit crazy with some animated gifs for the sj_everyday challenge.  Now I can dump those icons here now that the  voting is over.  Feel free to snurch.


And while I am here: Hey, SJ fans, are you reading mrspollifax's fic?  You'd better be.  She writes a great mature, real Jack and Sam.  I am particularly fond of A Cappella.  Go forth!  Read and feed.
