...and fell into some ficathons.  >.<   I don't have a great track record with ficathons, but I'm really in the mood to write.  Plus, I've never been able to say no to kellifer_fic or rowan_d.   So I claimed a prompt at schmoop_age both because it is a fabulous idea and because I want to see if I am capable of writing pure schmoopage.  Must resist killing/seriously harming/emotionally torturing anyone (or say...blowing up Earth).  It will be quite the challenge. ;)  I also signed up to write for the sd_ficathon (sign-ups close March 26th!  Hurry, hurry!).  I said I would prefer to write friendship but that I might try romance.  It all depends on how I can wrap my brain around it. I'm trying to decide if it makes me a pathetic, rabid, OTP fangirl that I would probably have to kill off Jack or make him completely inaccessible somehow to make Sam/Daniel work in my brain.  It's not that I see Sam and Daniel as siblings or think they have no chemistry.  They have chemistry and connection and love out the wazoo.  It's just that in my mind, I see the Sam/Jack connection as firmly established in canon (and I just think they make a great pairing, even though I totally get that some people just don't see it).  So there, I've admitted it.  I hope this doesn't result in banishment to the Batshit Insane Country or getting my Multishipper Highway Pass rescinded.  I really don't want to live in the rabid fangirl village and risk catching yahoolistitis.  (Have they come up with a vaccine yet?)  Anyway...my original point was that I signed up for the sd_ficathon.  My prompts were painfully boring as always.  I just suck at coming up with prompts!  So apologies in advance for whoever gets stuck with them.

*suddenly remembers unfinished timestamp and five things meme*  Ack.  Gotta do those too!

Oh, and just a random question.  Has an official name for Sam's mom ever been established?  If not, what is the most popular fanon name?
