Couldn't resist picking this up at the bookstore today:

While we are waiting for the next round of [info]apocalyptothon stories, here are a few of my favorite apocafics. :)

The Last BBQ by [livejournal.com profile] kellifer_fi  (West Wing)

And walked the night alone by [livejournal.com profile] elohvee  (Firefly)

And now back to writing my post-apocalyptic opus.

Heh. There is apocafic for almost every fandom, thanks to the apocalyptothon. That Gilmore Girls one is from last year's round of fics. And it somehow totally works! :)

Everytime someone mentions they like West Wing I make them read that. And every time they are like...apocafic? West Wing apocafic? No way. And then they love it. Because you are awesome like that.

More? Woot! You doing the apocalyptothon again this year? I was so bummed when I missed the sign up deadline. Or maybe relieved. But either way, I am looking forward to the new batch! :)

[livejournal.com profile] dianora2 has a West Wing apocafic also here (http://dianora.healthyinterest.net/archives/2004/08/devastating_vel.html). She calls it apocasmut, and it's heavy on Josh/Donna, but I thought it was great fun.
